EYFS

Nurturing Children through Fun and Learning

As a childminder for the Early Years I am required to follow the EYFS and I truly believe that a caring and stimulating environment is crucial to a child's development. I am a strong believer in learning through play and experience, allowing a child to be hands on as much as possible.

I will make regular observations of your child in order to meet their individual learning and developmental needs. These observations will be documented and I will share the information with you on a regular basis through your own child's personnel learning journey. Should you wish to see the records you may request so at any time. All information gathered from these observations will be kept confidential unless there appears to be a child protection issue.

As your child grows and develops, any issues that crop up are very important for us to discuss in order that we can work together and be incorporated into my care routine for your child. These could include weaning, potty training, managing behaviour, starting (pre) school etc.
