My name is Tracy, I am a Level 3 qualified Registered Childminder based in Romiley, Stockport. I also have an assistant Joanne, which gives us flexibility if children want to sleep, go into the garden or do the school run one of us can stay at home with the other children.
I am a member of PACEY (Professional Association for Childcare and Early Years - (Formerly NCMA) who are also my insurance providers.
I have been married to Jon for 13 years and have 2 children Kayleigh 12 and Oliver 9 who attend Marple Hall Secondary School and Romiley Primary School, we also have a standard poodle named Clio who is 12 and 2 guinea pigs, Alvin aged 3 and Woody 1.
I aim to provide a quality childminding service that exceeds the minimum standards required by Ofsted and that is tailored to your family needs.
Childminding is more than just a job to me, I am passionate about providing every child in my care the opportunity to not only reach his or her full potential, but also to experience a warm, loving, home based environment. I believe in working in partnership with parents/carers, as without their knowledge about their child, I cannot provide the play based curriculum which is planned around each child’s interests, likes, stage of development and family experiences.
I can take/collect children from Romiley Primary School, Flying Start Nursery, Greave Nursery and Bredbury Green Nursery.
I can offer free early education for 2, 3 and 4 year olds please click on the link to see if you qualify www.stockport.gov.uk/2yearold (3 and 4 year olds do not need to qualify) or contact me for further information.
Partnership with parents
Being a parent myself, I understand the importance of finding the right childcare for your child.
I aim to work closely with parents/carers to ensure that your child’s requirements and needs are met and that your child is supported every step of the way whilst in my care.
Every child in my care will be provided with a daily diary which will be filled in each day to include what your child has eaten, naps and activities, I would also ask that you write comments if your child has been unwell in the night/had a restless sleep or any changes that have occurred whilst your child is not in my care.
If I have any concerns about your child’s behaviour, development, eating etc. I will share them with you and if necessary work with you to seek support from outside agencies.
My door is always open if parents/carers want to discuss any matters.
